Homebound Giveaway - Fall Edition!

{GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED}

I am finally getting back into my blogging groove...and what better way to kick it off than with a giveaway??

My girl Heather, over at Post Road Vintage, has done it AGAIN! Somewhere between having sweet baby #6 and opening a new online shop, she has managed to put together yet another gorgeous Homebound e-zine! What makes this one super special, is this is the very first edition that is available IN PRINT!

I don't know about you, but I love a magazine in my hands. Turning the pages, the feel of the slick paper. I love all those gorgeous images larger than life and right at my fingertips!

Here is what you will find inside this issue:

-Decorating with Bright OR White Fall Colors
-Setting a simple Fall Tablescape
-Tips on Maximizing Your Fall Garden Harvest
-A Handmade & Vintage Baby Nursery
-Throwing a Fuss Free Party In The Garden
-How to Make Stone Coasters
-How to Make Reproduction French Grain Sack Napkins
-Green Tomato Relish Recipe

With so much going on lately, I was not able to take part in this edition, but I still wanted to share the love and when Heather offered to give a copy away a print copy to one of my readers I could not say YES! fast enough! She has an AMAZING lineup of bloggers that have contributed to this issue!

So...here are the details on how you can win your very own PRINT copy of Homebound:

1. Leave me a comment telling me your very favorite thing about FALL! Is it the falling leaves? The smell of a campfire? Carving pumpkins? Share with me!

2. Want extra entries to increase your chances of winning? Share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or blog about our giveaway! (just be sure you leave me an additional comment for each place you share!)

Easy Peasy, right??

You can still get the *free* download version of Homebound by clicking here, but remember this will not include all the extra content.

Are you curious now and want to see who and what is between the pages?  Download the FULL PRINT version for $2 by visiting Heather at Post Road Vintage. For details on how to order...click here.

Or if you are like me, and loooove the feel of that magazine in your hands...and don't want to wait to see who wins the giveaway, you can show some love to Heather and order a PRINT version to be mailed to you by clicking here!

Ok, girls...I am off for a little vacation with my hubs, my sisters and lots of kiddos. I will announce the winner when I return on Tuesday September 25th!

  14. Fall in the western US means one thing - the smell of roasting chili peppers. Vendors set up wire roasters on what seems like every corner and the smell is divine. I also buy a chili ristra to hang on my front porch.

It is truly magical to feel the weather change and watch the leaves turn in the crispy cool air and flutter to the ground. I am always grateful to have the opportunity to live here.

  46. My favorite thing about fall is our family vacations. We started taking family get-aways when the children were small and we were homeschooling. We opted for the fall time of year when there were fewer crowds and everyone else was in school. We still try and go away as a family during this time, and it's always a special remembrance being together.

  53. OMGoodness, I would LOVE to win a hard copy of this magazine. Like so many, Fall is my favorite season with all the beautiful colors and scents. I think what I like most about Fall is the change in weather from the hot & humid summer to the sunny breezy days and cool crisp nights of Autumn. I even like those rainy days in October when all you want to do is curl up with a good book or some cross-stitching :) Thanks for the generous give-away!

  65. What a beautiful magazine, I would love to enter the contest. My favorite part of fall is the smell of "academia" in the air, lol, aka...fall always reminds me of being a child and going back to school,,,shopping for new school supplies with my mom, brand new sweaters and socks and backpacks, and the butterfly inducing anticipation of what friends I would meet as I waited for the schoolbus! Even now at 38, fall always awakens me to the promise, possibilities and excitement of youth. Like everyone else, I also enjoy the crunch of leaves beneath my feet as well as hot apple cidar and caramel apples, trips to the cider mill and magical Michigan canoe trips!
    Have a great week,
    Jenah xo

  70. I love the crisp cool air, the fruit and grain harvests, driving through the Willamette valley and seeing all the ripe golden fields and blazing orchards...I think my favorite thing though is cooking fall recipes. We made apple cider last week with apples from my in-laws farm...and this week we made a big batch of apple/pear sauce with fruit straight from the farm. For Samhain there will be pumpkin EVERYTHING and some homemade root beer. I just love the way the scents of cinnamon and apples and nutmeg and pumpkin just fill that cool autumn air. It's like coming home :-)

  71. Autumn is my very favorite time of year! I live in the mountains and for me it is the subtle changes that I love. That first morning there is a chill in the air and you can tell it is autumn moving in. The smell of the pines and cedars in the late afternoon and early evening that only comes when the air is cool. Apples ripening on the trees inviting me to make apple butter and apple crisp. The first loaf of pumpkin bread and of course my all time favorite, pumpkin pies. There is a feeling in the air when autumn arrives. I hate the heat of summer, so to me, autumn is invigorating and gives me the urge to cozy up my nest for the long winter ahead. I love having to wear a sweater to go outside and not sweating! Autumn is wonderful.
