I dont know CSN - but will have to check them out. I love my LeCreuset dutch over. It's great for roasting a chicken - or making chili and soups - but I actually use it twice a week to whip up a batch of Dr. Harvey's Dog Food. My pup had cancer 4 yrs ago - so I make Dr. Harvey's which is a multi-grain/veggie oatmeal type mix - (you had a cooked protein like poached chicken - or browned ground round). Each batch makes 7 servings - so I have to do it 2x a wk - but I love my LeCreuset so much its makes it fun! -Wendy

ReplyDeleteNow that my kids have grown and gone and it is just me and my husband now. I don't cook much anymore but healthy boring stuff. Have to watch all the "numbers' when you get to be a certain age, you know! When we do all get together I sometimes make lasagna, like I used to.~Patti
ReplyDeleteI love CSN! And I do have one big red Le Creuset that I love to make Beef Burgundy in. It smells wonderful as it is cooking.

My absolute favorite of all time my mom's Veal Saltimbocca from the Mama Leone cookbook. My new favorite is stuffed squash blossoms...so delicious - you make a mixture of herbs, garlic and goat cheese, stuff it in the squash blossom, dip in egg and flour and fry. DELISH! Third, is a very labor intensive cream cheese chocolate brownie that is absolute heaven on earth. The recipe is from the Magnolia cookbook. Wish me luck!

I just made a big batch of my husband's family's Sicilian sauce this week...meatballs, salad, mmmmmmm!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance at this generous giveaway Mary!
Desserts are my specialties, anything chocolate! I love white dishes, I hope I win this!
ReplyDeleteHi Mar! I was so excited to see your beautiful face as a new follower on my blog - I have never cooked/baked with LeCreuset but looking at that beautiful little piece in your pic ~ I'm sure any of it could improve my skills! I love making Rice Pudding for my family when it is chilly outside and we LOVE Mediteranean Food during the summer. Happy Sunday Dollface!
ReplyDeleteMy children say that I can't cook... that it's all down home country food... nothing exotic and tasty... OK.. but, when I do a great big pan of Good Ol' Fashion Apple Crisp everyone wants some to take home and the pan is cleaned out in a day... go figure... thanks for the lovely giveaway...

My favorite think to bake in the Autumn (which is right around the corner -YAY:) is Apple bread w/cream cheese frosting...yummy to my tummy.
ReplyDeleteI love to make homemade pizza. Now that fall is right around the corner, I'm sure I will be baking lots and lots of pies. I don't own Le Creuset but would love to have a piece.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorites are monkey bread (yummy, gooey, caramel-y goodness) for Christmas morning and chicken and rice for a yummy comfort-food dinner.
ReplyDeleteFabulous giveaway! Thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteI enjoy making an type of soup for my family. What is it about soup that is so comforting? My family doesn't get to be together very much anymore but when we are I am in hog heaven.
