This morning, I was searching online for bed linens to use for the "Urban Plains" project...and I remembered my love of the Sundance catalog. I don't hear blogs refer too Sundance to often, but it is one of my favorite sites to find inspiration...
Ok, I know it has a lot of "western" style things...but they also have some of the most gorgeous vintage-inspired, rustic style things...which I personally LOVE to blend with my mostly-white decor...
Here are a few of my favorite things, just thought you might enjoy some "pretty" on your Monday morning...
First up, a lovely rustic barnwood key rack...I am only of those "always losing my keys" people, so this is perfect for me! But, sorry Sundance...I have enough barnwood to make about 986 of these, so I am whipping one up myself. Hmmm...maybe I should add one or two to my shop??? Anyone else out there losing their keys on a daily basis...or is that just me?
Next up...this fabulous clock. As soon as I saw it I thought of Maria from Dreamy Whites.
She has one very similar above her fireplace...love, love, LOVE it!
Ohhh...and LOVE these gorgeous french-inspured table linens.
They come in red and a beautiful aqua blue, too!
This basket is one I could not resist. It is going to hit my door-step next week, and I am so excited! I have seen this one in so many decorating magazines, I am so glad I finally found it! What does it say about your life when a basket gets you so stinkin' excited???
Speaking of baskets...isn't this just dreamy?? I immediately though of laundry-room storage.
This one is going on the birthday with list!
Anyone remember the blog post when I was searching for chairs like these?? I still never took the plunge and bought any, because I am hoping to find vintage and have the paint removed...but these just may have to do. I love them so. I wonder if they would rust outside?? Wouldn't they be fabulous around my white salvaged-wood patio table??
Love.
And I can't forget...bed linens is what started this Sundance-love-affair this morning! I am thinking about this bedskirt...but in white. I love the little ruffle.
Simple and sweet.
I am looking out my window as I type this...and it is snowing...sideways.
Ugh.
I think I am going to click over from Sundance to Expedia and book me and the hubs a weekend in the Florida Keys! I need a little sunshine in my life! Doesn't that sound like a good idea?
Happy Monday, girls!
Stay warm and cozy today!
I am off to paint the "Urban Plains" bedroom today...it is going to be a lovely Benjamin Moore shade of white called..."Snow White".
Ironic, isn't it??

Good Morning, Mary!
ReplyDeleteI love sundance too! All of your choices are fabulous!
I still have a sweater that I bought from them at least 10 years ago... it just never goes out of style and to top it all off, it looks good as new!
Enjoy your day of painting. I cannot wait to see your results!
Blessings,
Melanie
I love browsing the Sundance catalog too! They have a lot of cool rustic farmhouse looking things. I love the look of many of their storage pieces, like the one you've shown.
ReplyDeleteSnowing sideways, sounds icky.
Hope you stay nice and warm! :)

I always forget about Sundance too! I mostly like the jewelry in their catalog. Mostly because I like wearing unique pieces that no one else will have! The key rack is Awesome!
ReplyDeleteAbout those awesome chairs, I'm pretty sure Lori @ frugalfarmhousedesign has them in her kitchen and I want to say they were an outlet store find? Good luck with your hunt.
ReplyDeletePS - I tear up the Sundance catalog too when it arrives, love their look minus the western feel.
Love that key rack! Never heard of sundance, I'm going to check them out!
ReplyDeleteHaha. It was snowing "sideways" here for what seemed like forever... but now the sun is out!
ReplyDeleteI love the metalware! I'm off to check it out...
I love that key rack! We just have too many keys and not enough space. Can't wait to get home to measure, to see if it would fit.
ReplyDeletehi Mary, i love every.single.thing. you listed from Sundance. and i canNOT wait to see what "snow white" looks like on the walls as i too, have an obsession with all things white.
ReplyDeletei wanted to share with you a steal of a find. those aluminum chairs you have listed... i've been searching high and low EVERYWHERE for a couple within my budget to sit around a farmtable i'm making over for our dining room.
they are at homedecorators.com on sale for $79 down from $99!!! i might just bite the bullet and order two to mix in with the other old chairs i have for contrast around the table. :)
and for a price like that, they'd be GORGEOUS around your outside table.

ReplyDeleteYes, I love Sundance! I have been getting their catalog for years. Robert Redford. :) Those are some pretty items! I love Maria's unique clock, too. I checked weatherdotcom this morning, we are supposed to have wintry snow mixed with rain until Wednesday & then the sun will come out. I'm excited for your new room & can't wait to see it. You & Andrea have great style!! xx
ReplyDeleteI ♥♥♥ Sundance!! I don't get their catalogs anymore, but I used to drool over everything. The clothes, the houseware stuff, and especially the jewelery. *sigh* The three tiered baskets are awesome. I'm jealous. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for bringing to attention the beloved Sundance catalog! I *heart* it. I think it is wonderful and spendy. Which is why we like it right? If it is outta the bugdet we must have it.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered stools from Overstock that look just like the Mid-century studio stool from Sundance. Oh, and they were like a quarter of the price.
Stay warm and dry!
I love Sundance, but so pricey! Have you seen that Pottery Barn has the three tier basket on sale for $49.99 here: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/tiered-bath-storage/?pkey=e|three%2Btiered|2|best|0|1|24||1&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_-NoMerchRules-_-

If you are looking for a great deal on those chairs try eBay. I just bought four steel ones for 115.00 each and only 40.00 to ship four, much cheaper than Sundance. And let me just say they are awesome!!!! We love them!!

ReplyDeleteI heart Sundance...but not their prices :( I loved that key rack when I saw it on Mothology. I would definitely buy one from you though - authentic barn wood baby! ALso, those chairs that you and everyone else loves....they are on Overstock.com. Look up "Tabouret" and they will pop up in black, white, red and silver. $195 for 4 of them with $2.95 shipping!! I have the Tabouret metal stools and put ruffled slipcovers on them. They are my favs :) Thanks for the Robert Redford fix ;)

I don't know if anyone mentioned it to you or not but Pine Cone Hill has a bed skirt just like this. I have one in cream. I'm pretty sure it might be less expensive. I love mine. I googled who carried the brand and they shipped it to me from their store. I forget which one it was.
